Orange Throws its Support Behind the Gijón Open
The second-largest telecommunications carrier in Spain will have a stand at the tournament where they will be holding raffles and offering giveaways
Orange has been confirmed as another official sponsor of the Gijón Open ATP 250, organised by the Real Federación Española de Tenis (RFET), taking place from October 8-16 at the Palacio de Deportes La Guía. This collaboration between Orange and the RFET further strengthens the partnership between the two entities, which began in 2021.
For the Spanish Tennis Federation (RFET), this tournament has been six years in the making. The Gijón Open, sponsored by Orange, is the jewel in the crown of tournaments organised by the Federation.
Starting with ITF Junior and Tennis Europe events, through to ITF and ITF WTT (women's) all the way up to this year's ATP Gijón Open, the Spanish Tennis Federation has built a competitive network allowing local players to reach a professional level without leaving Spain.
As part of the sponsorship deal, Orange will have its own stand at the tournament where attendees will be able to take part in many raffles and even be in with a chance of taking home multiple gifts.
