How can I buy the tickets?

There are only two ways to purchase tickets: through the official website at www.gijonopen.com and through the only authorized sales channel El Corte Inglés. It is strictly forbidden to purchase tickets through unauthorized vendors. The use of tickets acquired outside the two channels mentioned above may lead to expulsion from the venue and the corresponding legal measures according to current legislation.

What happens if I have not bought the tickets through official channels?

Tickets purchased through unofficial channels are highly likely to be invalid and you will be refused entry. Therefore, it is mandatory to use the official ticket sales channels.

Where can I collect my tickets?

Tickets purchased through the tournament website are "print at home" tickets that must be printed at home from the confirmation email.

Can tickets be purchased at the venue box office?

Tickets can only be purchased at the box office on the same day you wish to attend, as long as there is still availability for that day.

Can I pay by debit or credit card at the venue box office?

Tickets can be paid in cash or by debit/credit card. 

What are the ticket office hours?

The ticket offices at the venue are only open on the days of the event, from the start until 7:00 p.m. if matches are being played. Otherwise, they will close, as a rule, one hour before the end of the last match. However, the organizers recommend purchasing tickets from the tournament website www.gijonopen.com. 

Where are the lockers located?

The lockers are located on the access ramp, on the right hand side.

If my tickets have been lost or stolen, can they be reprinted?

Tickets purchased at the tournament website can be reprinted by accessing the confirmation email. As a general rule, and to avoid problems accessing the venue, it is recommended to file an appropriate report (both for loss and theft) by notifying the organization by email at tickets@gijonopen.com to cancel lost/stolen tickets..

Can I download the ticket on my mobile phone instead of printing it?

Tickets can be downloaded in PDF format and shown on your mobile at the checkpoint. No photos or screenshots of the tickets will be accepted.

If I have bought the tickets and on the day of the event I cannot attend, will I get my money back?

Tickets cannot be returned or exchanged.

Can I post a photo of my tickets on social media?

It is recommended not to post photos of tickets on social media. If you do, you must make sure that the barcode or QR code does not appear in the image, since improper use of it may cause the ticket to be invalidated.

Do children need a ticket?

Children of any age always need a ticket to access the venue. The organization stipulates that children under 3 years of age who do not occupy their own seat will be able to access the venue without a ticket. If you are under 3 years old and occupy a seat, you must carry a valid access ticket.

Can tickets be shared/transferred to other people?

All tickets will have the owner’s name on them. The owner may give away a ticket/s to third parties but remains responsible for the proper use of the ticket.

How can I watch the matches taking place on court 1?

Any valid access ticket gives the right to a numbered seat on the centre court and access to court 1 according to availability.

Are there spaces for wheelchair users?

In compliance with current regulations, the Gijón Open has a space reserved for wheelchair access. A person with Reduced Mobility is considered to be any person who has a recognized degree of disability equal to or greater than 33%. To verify this, the corresponding card/ID must be presented the venue entrance, together with the ticket. Seats for this area are sold under the name "Reduced Mobility" and "Reduced Mobility Companion" and are duly signposted on the premises and will be easily accessible without any architectural hindrance. In addition, there will be staff at the entrance who will assist and accompany these people to facilitate their access to the stands.

What time do the access doors to the venue open?

Door opening hours will be set to the requirements of the State Security FFyCC. In any case, they will be published on the tournament website www.gijonopen.com. 

Can I access the venue once the matches have started?

The doors will remain open until 15 minutes before the end of the event.

Can I leave the venue and re-enter with the same tickets?

Yes, by making use of the specific exit lanes, however IT IS AN ESSENTIAL CONDITION that the ticket be validated upon exiting in order to be able to re-enter the venue. Otherwise, re-entry will not be possible. This stipulation may be revoked at any time for security reasons.

Can I enter with food and drink?

You can access the grounds with packaged food that does not require the use of cutlery. Glass containers are not allowed. In the case of drinks, they must always be in a plastic container, without a lid and with a maximum capacity of 50cl.

Can you eat food with shells?

Foods with shells/that need to be shelled, such as sunflower seeds, peanuts, etc. are not allowed to be consumed at the venue.

Can I enter with a backpack?

Only backpacks or small bags are allowed inside the venue, up to a maximum of 25L capacity.

Can I enter with the motorcycle helmet?

It is not allowed. 

Can I come in with an umbrella?

Only if the umbrella is collapsible, otherwise no.

Can I bring a selfie stick?

Selfie sticks are not allowed.

Should I put my mobile on silent mode?

Mobile phones must be turned off or silenced, both in the stands and in the vicinity of the courts. 

Where can I park my car?

There are two parking areas near the Palacio de Deportes La Guía, but both will be closed on Sundays as well as on days when a football match is being held at the El Molinón stadium. It is highly recommended
